Hello, I'm Simon De Thuin — a software developer passionate about building robust back-end systems and scalable infrastructure. My journey began with Kotlin, Java, and Spring, and has since expanded to include Python (FastAPI) and the .NET ecosystem. I love bringing projects to life — from designing architecture and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to deploying applications on AWS and Azure.

What drives me most, though, is people. My favorite experiences were when I served as a team coach at Devoteam and Lab900 — helping teams grow, mentoring juniors, and creating an environment where everyone could do their best work. I believe that great software comes from happy, motivated developers.

Outside of tech, I make electronic music — a passion I've been pursuing since 2007. My work has been released on Billegal Beats, OpenOutlets, and ForestBiz. I'm also open to composing music for films, video games, or businesses looking for something unique and emotional.
